Read that again.
How often do we observe or qualify a person’s well-being based off their ability to perform?
We look at how they’re flourishing in their gifts, progressing in a lucrative career, building and expanding their business/brand, or have a relationship or marriage that from the outside seems satisfying; and perceive they are good.
Yet the two are not synonymous.
You can thrive and still be in pain.
You can have vision and still be blinded by brokenness.
You can love and be loved and still feel lonely and afraid.
I have the sacred honor and joy of journeying in ministry and consultation with people. Many are effectively performing their duties, faithfully functioning in their roles, yet secretly suffering from inner self abandonment.
Scripture says: “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].” 3 John 1:2 AMP
Inspirer, your success is only as good as your health. Your healing is to good health, what hope is to faith. In order to have it, you must develop it and nurture it.
Take time daily to check-in on you.
Be honest with yourself.
Seek spiritual, physical, and psychosocial support as needed and necessary.
There’s greater for you. But, God wants and needs you to Be, wholistically healthy and stable to enjoy all He’s promised, planned, and purposed. You are the important factor in what you do.
Let’s Grow!
Remember, I’m praying for you, I believe in you, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Now Go…Be Great and Do Greater!
